Distance Learning

We have now made it possible to take our programs via the internet. Our classes are picked up by the student once per week as we give you a lot of information. It takes a full week to complete homework and do the practical assignments.

How the internet courses work

The courses work as follows:

1. Signing in on the message board and picking up pre-class notes if necessary.

2. Going to your internet class each week in the student stairway and picking up your instructions (class papers). Along with this an interactive elective may be chosen from two that are available in any given term.

3. Doing your homework that is assigned at the end of your class.

4. For those in Apprenticeships an interactive chat class will be assigned.

5. Check the message board frequently as many important notices are posted there such as class changes.

An instructor will be available for on going communication via message board 7 days per week.

If you are having difficulty or fall behind your teacher will make an appointment to meet you in the metaphysical classroom to assist you.

Communication with fellow students is made easy via the message board and interactive chat classrooms, this activity will be encouraged.

Tests and examinations

Internet apprenticeship course exams as well as all other exams will be given online in one of two ways. Instruction for the written exams will be left for you to pick up in your online classroom along with appropriate instructions. The type of exam given at any given time will be at the instructor's discretion. Marks will be given to you in your message board inbox. Tests will remain school property and shall not be returned to you. Practical exams will also be given in the metaphysical classroom. Please see test times and dates in the student stairway.

Online class dates

All online terms consist of eight weeks except for apprenticeship programs which consist of 16 weeks.

Primary term one classes can be picked up on Monday after 2pm est

Primary term two classes can be picked up on Tuesday after 2pm est

Advanced term three classes can be picked up on Wednesday after 2pm est

Advanced term four classes can be picked up on Thursdays after 2pm est

Apprenticeship classes may be picked up on Fridays after 2pm est

 The amount of time it takes to complete each class is an individual thing. You will get out of the program as much as you put into it in "time".

Tuition

All online 4 terms of the reality creation program are US$600. collectively not including supplies.

Apprenticeship programs are US 1000. inclusive but not including any supplies.

 

Supplies

All supplies and tools will be supplied by the student and shall be in the student's possession prior to first class. You will require three note books, one large, two small, as well as a binder or two for print outs. A wand may be purchased from Alivan's wand shop at www.Alivans.com. If you purchase your wand by phone and tell them that you are a student at Hillside School of Metaphysics you will receive 20% off of your purchase. If any student has a problem with their purchase please contact the school as well as Alivan's. If you wish you may make your own wand but it must be straight.

Upon registration further instruction will be given.
