The Download Theory

The Download Theory has been seventeen years in the making. It answers more questions than it creates and abides by the principles of parsimony. In this case simpler is better and effectively puts the scientific method in its place concerning subjective issues.

Phenomenal questions that science has not been able to answer such as: “What is a child prodigy?”, “What is the sixth sense?” or “What is intuition?” have finally been answered. The spiritual questions such as “What are ghosts?”, “Can energy inprints be read?”, “Is it possible to have ESP?” also now find an answer in this theory. Ideas that made it into the mainstream, such as déjà vu and dreaming, still could not adequately be explained.

Until now.

The fundamental ingredient to this theory is memory. It is the one thing you brought with you from the womb and the only thing you will take with you when you leave this reality.

Every instant you are making a decision. Even if that decision is to do nothing, you still have to decide to do nothing. Let's look at what's involved in making a decision.

Our decisions are based on beliefs and emotion. First, however, you have to consider memory. If you didn't remember what your beliefs or emotions were, you would not be able to make a decision. When we are deciding, we ask ourselves questions: “Have I had to deal with this kind of situation before?”, “What was the outcome?”, “How did it make me feel?” Memory is always consulted before any decision is made.

The next step is that you have an experience based on that decision, even if the decision was to do nothing at all. Finally, a perception of that experience is committed to memory.

The illustration below clearly shows what we call “the power of an instant,” the feedback loop from memory to memory. The instant is projected outward towards reality. Its perception is then brought back to memory.

The power of an instant

External power of an instant

So far, this all sounds obvious. However, what is not known is that perception does not distinguish between states of consciousness. Your perceptions do not distinguish between an imagined event, an event in a daydream or even in a dream at night, and what you physically experience in this reality. They are all treated the same way, and processed in the same way.

What many people are also unaware of is that a fetus in the mother's womb isn't just doing nothing. The fetus is sleeping, and while it sleeps, it dreams.

You can apply the power of an instant to a larger scale as well. You can apply the power of an instant to a long term decision. It can be a decision you made but won't act on for several weeks or months, like a vacation. Or you can apply the same power of an instant to your entire life. You began with your memories and you will leave with nothing but your memories based, which are based on your experiences.

What I have taken you through is the physical aspect of a power of an instant: that which relates to this reality as you experience it while you are “awake. ” What I would like to do now is take you through the process as it applies to other selves and other realities, in your terms: dream realities.

Internal Power of an instant

During REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep and while awake, beta rhuthm is active. During both states of consciousness, we experience a reality in some way. In REM sleep it is a private dream reality. While awake it is a mass shared reality. This is a fast rhythm of 13 to 35 cycles per second.

Delta is a very slow wave rhythm of 0.5-4 cycles per second, and is present during slow wave sleep. We also experience dreams in this state. It is the very deep sleep that people experience between periods of REM sleep.

Theta rhythm is also a slow rhythm, but it is not associated with dreaming. It is associated with your memory center: the hippocampus. It occurs between wakefulness and the first period of slow wave sleep, as well as between slow wave sleep and REM sleep.

There are other rhythms, but they are not relevant here. These three are the ones I would like you to pay attention to in this next illustration.

This is the power of an instant while you are awake or while you sleep.

Please note the following. The important thing to note is that memory is involved with every transition between the three states of consciousness: wakefulness, slow wave sleep, and REM sleep. You start out in beta: you're awake. From there, you go through a period of theta (associated with memory), and end up in delta (slow wave sleep), which is also a dream state. From there, you go through a period of theta (memory) again, followed by REM sleep (beta). From there, you go through a period of theta (memory) again, followed by slow wave sleep (delta). This cycle continues throughout the night until you awake.

You can see clearly the individual feedback loops from each experienced reality (dream) to memory. Memory is the one thing that all realities share. When I speak of memory, I do not speak of short term memory, but rather long term memory.

The reason

The reason for this is quite simple. When we go to sleep, the first thing we do is remember the day (memory). We then proceed to delta to get information that will help us in other realities and give information from this reality. From delta we go to memory to store what we need. We then proceed to REM sleep where once again we are getting and giving information we can use in this reality. Sending and receiving information all night long is what we are doing.

Based on this theory it has become very easy to interpret someone's dreams or get answers while we sleep.

Does this mean that all scientific studies are wrong? Of course it doesn't. What it means is that science is building a clay bowl with clay hands. There is much room for dream exploration and memory development. It is just as easy to remember something that hasn't happened yet, than it is to remember something that has happened. Sometimes it is even easier.

We have created a list of some questions that are answered by the download theory, together with a brief outline of each answer.

The Download Theory and its many applications are taught as part of our Reality Creation Program.
