Frequently Asked Questions
Below, you will find answers to some of the most common questions we receive.
If your question isn't listed, send us an e-mail
or ask on our message board.
Q: Will I really learn to do all of the things that Hillside says I can learn?
A: Yes. If you are committed, and do the exercises and your homework, you will learn all of what we teach.
Some things you will have greater ability in than others, but you will learn all of what we teach.
Q: Are there any prerequisites to the programs or courses?
A: No other program, diploma, or degree is related to this program so the answer would have to be no. It is assumed however, that you have a good command of the English language.
Those of you that have a background in the sciences will find the study papers easier to read. A science background is not necessary however to understand the general ideas or fundamental thoughts on reality that created The Download Theory.
Before you take an Apprenticeship Course completion of the Reality Creation Program
is required.
Q: How long is a term?
A: A term is eight weeks in length. Any student receives one class once per week for eight weeks.

program only the apprenticeships are seperate and subject to grades.
No credit will be given to any incomplete terms.
Q: Can children enroll in the school?
A: Students must be eighteen years or older to enroll.
Q: Why does Hillside seem to be different than other metaphysical schools?
A: Metaphysics as defined is a methodical investigation of the first principles
and problems of ultimate reality. We have created a theory that adequately
explains reality. There are ways to use the theory in practice and that is what we
teach here at the school. Hillside methods are
based on a scientific theory on the first principles of reality whereas other
metaphysical schools are not unique in this way. Natural with respect to nature
beginning with why we have a tendency to talk to our selves is where we begin.
Q: What do psychic phenomena have to do with science?
A: We teach what the Download theory states is possible. We have based classes on our own trials and studies.
Q: What is an apprenticeship term?
A: Terms five and six are considered to be apprenticeship terms.
Terms five and six are similar in the way that they are preparation courses. Term
six studies are advanced studies in any chosen subject. In term five you
will learn how to begin your own business in your chosen field of study.
Q: What day will I have to pick up my work or attend class?
A:
- Term one picks up class on Monday
- Term two picks up class on Tuesday
- Term three picks up class on Wednesday
- Term four picks up class on Thursday
- Apprenticeship programs run throughout the
week depending on what apprenticeship you are entering into. Any
apprenticeship except teaching may be picked up after 2pm on Fridays as stated
however papers for specific apprenticeships will be made available earlier in
the week.
Q: How will I take my exams?
A: Students will take their exams over the internet either in the interactive
metaphysical chat class or in your designated classroom.
Q. Is there a
specific amount of paranormal ability that is required before I begin the program?
A.
No. A skeptic student is always interesting to observe.
